for 1916, with round 5 1/2in. barrel signed by the maker and with patent dates to '1905', blade fore-sight, sighting groove to the top-strap, solid frame with swing-out fluted cylinder, plunge sprung ejector, double action mechanism, chequered hard rubber grips embossed with 'COLT' to the top-edge, lanyard swivel at heel, the whole retaining much original blued finish
